Kidney Stones: Food Allows/Avoids

I have had 24 kidney stones as of March 2025, ranging from <1mm to 7mm. Three of them required a ureteroscopy to remove (5mm, 5mm, 7mm) and my longest gap between them after starting to get them (inherited the tendency) was 3 years, by going on this diet. I had one in January 2025 because (I assign blame for) I slipped up on the diet. This diet is generally with regard to calcium oxalate stones

Very Bad

Do not eat any of these if you can avoid them. If you do eat any, drink water like a fish to compensate, and then learn your lesson not to eat anymore more again. I don't remember where I got the list, but I did copy it from someplace; I will credit that list when I find it again. Items marked with a single % after it, are absolutely avoid forever foods. Items marked with a # after, are pushing into okay territory, but proceed with caution.

Okay/Acceptable

These foods are okay to eat without worrying too much about quantity, in terms of kidney stone production.
