Juyeon Guide 2024

Ahoy there! This is a small begginer/fan-guide for the Juyeon discord bot, not to be confused with my similar Hyejoo_Guide_2024.

Juyeon features a text-based (mostly) game where you receive random cards featuring your favorite Korean/Kpop stars, train them, level them up, combine/ascend them, battle, and sell on a public market, among other things.

I've only been playing it since Feb 2024 or so, and I wasn't so keen on the guides I saw so I wanted to make my own based on my experience with it, mostly as a reminder to myself of what to do.

This guide is not complete and only contains commands I feel experienced enough to work with, from my beginner level.

Combining Tutorial

You must have 10 of a kind of card, in order to combine/ascend them into the next higher star count (1 star to 2 star, etc). One way of getting them, is buying them in the marketplace. I just did this for the first time, and here's how I did it.

  • >mbuy 55 na=taeyeon
    • this prompts the bot that you wish to mass-buy from the marketplace, all cards which contain the artist taeyeon, with a maximum price each of 55. Once sent, the bot will tell you how much the total cost will be, and ask if you're sure you want to. I hit yes.
  • >cpc
    • this will show you how many combinable cards you have. It turns out as a result of my marketplace purchase, I have 10x of the Taeyeon card from the “Stamp On It” Era.
  • >inv na=taeyeon era=stamp on it
    • this searches my inventory for all cards with the artist taeyeon, and the era stamp on it. It spit out a list of those ten I had. Next, click on the little gray icon next to the blue folder icon, and the bot will spit out a copy-pastable list of all of the card codes in that search result. I copied it.
  • >co (then paste the list)
    • this combined all of those 1-star cards into a 2-star taeyeon card from the Stamp On It era. Boom!
